VS-1000 and VS-3000 Series Sensors - Dissolved CO2, Brix/Diet, Ethanol/Alcohol, Organic Acid VitalSensors' VS Series of mid-infrared sensors are the next generation of process measurement sensors. They combine smart spectrometer technology with state of the art networking and software in a compact form factor that fits in the palm of the user's hand. The VS Series sensors have been designed to be implemented inline in a process stream for direct real-time measurement and thus can be used to make analyses in situ. Measurements such as carbonation, brix, diet, carbohydrates, water in solvents, fats, proteins and white powders analysis are among the many applications for the VS Series of sensors. Current Product Line: VS-300 Sensor Management Console The VS-300 Sensor Management Console (SMC) software supports all the functions of VS Series sensors and is available as a standalone Windows application, a Windows based network application, a Windows CE application or in the near future a Web network based application. The software is intuitive and easy to use. The design goal for the Sensor Management Console is for the QA/QC professional to be able to display and access sensor data anywhere on the companies network. VS-300 Sensor Management Station The VS-300 Sensor Management Station is the display and communications panel for the VS-1000 Series sensors. The Station provides three important functions for the sensor: 1) Communications for the sensor to enable it to communicate with the customer's computer using the customer's desired protocols. Available protocols are EtherNet/IP, Profibus PA, Hart, and standard Ethernet. 2) Local display of sensor output, such as concentration of carbon dioxide or temperature. 3) Local input for the setting of offsets, temperature or concentration units, brand type, or sensor measurement averaging.
